Description

In this second installment of "The Guardian Trilogy", Aaron returns stronger and even more confused in his reluctant role as The Guardian. None other than Aaron's foe Akasha has kidnapped Lisa and he must move Heaven and Earth to get her back. The Guardian Arises follows Aaron through countless twists and turns as he becomes more comfortable with the powers of his position and fights off Akasha, secret government agencies and The Seven. It seems he just won't be left alone. Aaron meets new Deities, creates a legion of vampires to clean the planet of lowlifes and constantly fights for his love. Aaron finally takes on The Seven and Akasha, handing down sentences to them that are fair, though twisted. It seems though, that even in defeat Akasha will not let Aaron live in peace. He enlists the help of an old friend to interfere one last time in The Guardian's life. Even though a web of lies and deceit that Destiny herself would be jealous of takes Lisa from him Aaron never gives up on her. "The Guardian Arises" dares readers to delve even deeper into Aaron's life as he muddles along as The Guardian.

About the Author

Jeffrey Gage was born in Montreal, Quebec, but as a baby his family moved to the Toronto, Ontario area. He spent his early childhood years there before moving to Florida. He spent about five years in Florida, then briefly moved back to Ontario. Shortly after moving to Ontario, his family's green card paperwork came through and they moved to Columbia, South Carolina, where they've lived ever since. The Guardian Awakens is his debut novel, and the first installment of The Guardian Trilogy. He currently has two books in the editing stages and is writing two other books. His whole life he wanted to write, but it seemed life always got in the way. So why did he finally get around to writing a novel? One day at work his boss asked him what he always wanted to be when he grew up. He thought for a moment then replied that he'd always wanted to be an author. When she asked him why he wasn't, well, Jeffrey simply couldn't come up with an answer. This question nagged at him for a few months. Finally he said "what the heck" and started writing The Guardian Awakens and hasn't stopped writing since. He still works a "day job" as a Planner/Scheduler in a manufacturing plant, but when he's not at work he allows himself to be sucked into his writing. Jeffrey was born in 1977, has two older brothers and two young nephews. In 1996 his son was born and remains the light of his life. He was married at the time but is now divorced. Most of Jeffrey's extended family still lives in Canada, so he and his mother make a trip to the "homeland" every fall to visit everyone. He looks forward to this trip all year.
